On Thursday, September 8, Founding President of African PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)  Relief David Shapiro will present to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services a new, evidence-based approach to rapidly reduce PTSD symptoms

From 3:30-4:30 PM, David and Dr. Jamie Grant will explain how 90% of Congolese war refugees with high levels of PTSD symptoms became non-symptomatic within 30 days of learning Transcendental  Meditation (Journal of Traumatic Stress: April, 2013; February, 2014).  Dr. Grant, PhD Harvard, is engaged in PTSD research across the US.

The majority of South African college students who employed this stress busting strategy came out of PTSD within 105 days. Great results are reported across Africa. A video of one Congolese war victim of major trauma will tell her story of the return of joy to her life.

Meeting is sponsored by the Combined Federal Campaign, CFC.

If you work for the Federal Government in the National Capital Area, please speak with the CFC organizer to invite African PTSD Relief (CFC designation #94568) to speak about this new anti-stress, anti-violence and anti-terrorism tool. For more information or to get help organizing a Charity Fair invitation for African PTSD Relief in your Federal Deparment, email contact@africanptsdrelief.org

Presentation will be given for HHS members at Switzer Building - 330 C St SW., WDC.
