BRIAN REES, Colonel (ret.) Medical Corps,US Army Reserve, MD, MPH
Brian Rees, Board Member

Dr. Rees, Colonel (ret.) Medical Corps, US Army Reserve, MD, MPH, Tulane Univeristy, has over 37 years of commissioned military service, 5 tours of duty Afghanistan and Iraq. He is a Graduate of both the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the U.S. Army War College​,  physician at San Luis Obispo Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Lead author of two studies related to the TM program and PTSD relief, published in the Journal of Traumatic Stress (April 2013 and February 2014).

Jim Schaefer, Ph.D., Board Member

Dr. Schaefer has a BA in International Agriculture Studies,
Washington International University, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania.  He is the CEO/founder of Soil Technologies Corp., President of Partners for World Peace, board member of Seeds of Heaven, board member of Global Education Development Ltd. (UK), and TM instructor for the past 40 years, including 20+ years of experience in international projects involving application of the TM program. 

W. L. Van Zandt, Board member

Mr. Van Zandt is an entrepreneur and founding board member of Partners for World Peace, an Iowa corporation comprised of entrepreneurs, educators and business professionals providing project design and project management for educational, agricultural and SMBE projects around the world.  He holds a BS in Physics and an MS in Neuroscience from Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, IA.
