specialized applications of the TM program for PTSD relief and
prevention across Latin America. Africa. Dr. Alvarez currently has agreements/contracts
to provide PTSD relief to 1 million children with PTSD in Latin
America.

Solomon Mwangi, B.A Architecture, University of Nairobi. Coordinator of African PTSD Relief projects in Kenya, 30 years of experience teaching the Transcendental Meditation (TM) program, Director of the Transcendental Meditation program in Kenya.
Tetey Kwesi Orgle: Ph.D. Tropical Forest Ecology, University of Aberdeen. Executive Director of the Institute for Excellence in Africa, an organization established to implement proven, prevention-oriented, forward-looking solutions to critical problems facing Africa. He has served as Director of the Resource Management Support Center for the Forestry Commission of Ghana and has worked with a variety of NGOs including the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Fearless Planet Inc., and Global Country of World Peace.
Baunda is a Congolese refugee living in Uganda. He came to Uganda after his brother was killed in his house.
Before he learned TM, Baunda says that the pressure he experienced was taking away his heart and that his heart was not settled. Since learning TM, Bunda told us, "The meditation (Transcendental Meditation) is helping me a lot because I’m no longer having that stress inside of me as I was having before.... Now I feel like I'm really settled inside me and I feel more hopeful."
