TM & PTSD Symptoms

Although they may not have been diagnosed with PTSD, many individuals suffer from the same symptoms as those with this  diagnosis.  These symptoms may include:
  • Feeling alienated from others
  • Recurrent intrusive memories
  • Irritable or aggressive behavior
  • Sleep disturbances, and more

Over 350 peer-reviewed studies have been published in journals around the world showing a very wide range of benefits from the Transcendental Meditation Practice in the general population. These benefits include:
  • Improved relationships with friends and co-workers
  • Increased freedom from habitual perception patterns
  • Increased harmony, inner balance and peacefulness
  • Improvement in sleep patterns and quality, and more

Although most of these studies were conducted on the general population, not on PTSD sufferers, they do suggest that those who suffer from symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) may find full or partial relief with the TM technique (TM).  Recent studies on PTSD confirm this.

A Doctor Explains:
"Tm Rested Their Minds
"

“I knew that TM works for stress. But I did not know that it can go all that deep to counteract trauma, because I thought that trauma is handled by specialists in counseling who have majored in trauma. So, I was so shocked. All in all TM did a very great work."
“Actually, I have been explaining to many medical personnel and they think this is belonging to Heaven, not here. They think it's impossible (the significant reduction in PTSD symptoms in refugees within 15 days of learning TM). But it's so unique. TM did it that way. It rested their minds."
